Intriguing, exclusive, timeless - The Grange at Northington in the Hampshire countryside is a remarkable venue. Owned by the Baring family, the Grade 1 listed building is one of the finest examples of Greek Revival architecture in Europe. First built in the 1660, the house was saved from demolition in 1975 when it was given protection by English Heritage. It is now home to an annual opera festival and occasional location for film or fashion shoots, most notably in recent times, the collaboration between Erdem and H&M.
It is also available as a wedding venue and in December 2018 we were delighted to be part of a chic and contemporary wedding inspiration shoot co-ordinated and styled by the creative team, What Peggy Did Next, capturing the beauty of The Grange's decadent architecture and its versatility as a venue for relaxed but luxurious nuptials. The vision for the couple was clean, understated luxury with unusual, art-inspired details. We supplied our 'Tiny Fern' combs and headband from the Garden of Earthly Delights collection, as well as a custom-made raised headband using the same Tiny Fern elements, which co-ordinated wonderfully with Still Life Flowers' bracken garland above the table.
