Vintage Large Baroque Pearl Long Necklace

Vintage long strand baroque pearl necklace.
 
A beautiful long single-strand knotted faux baroque pearl necklace. The pearls have a wonderful contoured shape and are a lustrous and warm cream tone. I am not entirely sure of its age - but it has 'flapper' feel to it, and the brass bolt-ring clasp and hand-knotted construction certainly makes it seem quite old - so probably 1920s-30s. Some of the pearls have lost a little of their coating, and the string has stretched between a couple of the pearls, but it is still in a very wearable condition. Drop from clasp is 40 cm. It would work beautifully with a 1920s or 1930s style wedding dress, but equally lovely worn as a double strand necklace with a 1960s style dress. It can also be worn twisted around the wrist as a sumptuous bracelet.
