Crystal Set Mantilla Comb

This beautiful vintage mantilla-style hair ornament has a lovely lattice-work design with a central floral motif and is set with softly sparkling paste stones. It dates from the 1920s-30s.It has been handwired onto a new metal comb, to be worn at the back of the head and looks particuarly lovely on top of a gently gathered veil. The lacy, lattice-work design works especially well with lace.
 
Approx dimensions: 11 cm at widest part and 6cm tall at its highest point. The comb measures 6cm across.
