ELORA - custom order bridal hair vine for an Arizona orchard wedding
Romantic pioneers, Elora and Nick travelled from their home in Virginia to the spectactular setting of Slide Rock State Park, Sedona, Arizona for their intimate wedding. Never having visited Sedona before, the location was chosen not only for its natural beauty, but to create a special destination that they can return to and visit together in the years to come.
Elora got in touch with me after seeing a custom order bridal headpiece on our Instagram feed. She was interested in the Apple Blossom comb from our Garden of Earthly Delights collection, but wondered if it could be customized into a longer hair vine. Their wedding ceremony was taking place in an apple orchard, so the design made an instant connection.
Our design consultations took place over email, with me sending images of the materials I would be using so we could establish the length of the piece, the colour of the metal leaves used, and Elora's preference for a light sprinkling of light gold and cream Swarovski pearl beads and tiny golden crystals, all the time working to the agreed budget. The creative design process was swift and seamless. Elora was such a responsive client - clear in her mind about what she wanted, while being receptive to my input.
Elora and Nic's incredible wedding photos were taken by Erika Greene, who specialises in elopments and intimate weddings. She has undoubtedly captured both the tender emotions and meaningful details of this beautiful outdoor wedding.
The wedding ceremony and reception styling and catering was by Cloth and Flame, and the flowers by Sedona Mountain High Flowers. Elora's light as air dress was by Daalarna Couture bought from Gilded Bridal in Raleigh, NC and her makeup by Natalie at N Artistry Co.
The day after their wedding, these romantic adventurers went to Horseshoe Bend and Antelope Canyon with their photographer to capture more of the incredible place that now has such an special place in their hearts.
These stunning images have really blown me away - the landscape, the light and the love so beautifully captured. Many congratulations Elora and Nic.
