Ruth saw one of our vintage jewelled headpiece designs on the website of vintage wedding dress atelier Abigail's Vintage Bridal and got in touch seeing if we could make a similar design for her. Ruth visited our studio and bowled me over with her joie de vivre and passion for vintage style. With the perfect mix of a clear vision and a trusting heart, Ruth handed over the brief, some vintage marcasite jewellery she had collected herself and some special pieces of marcasite jewellery owned by her Gran and her mum. Over the next few weeks, I sourced additional marcasite elements and ivory Swarovski pearls and, after a few more email conversations, created a headpiece with the beautiful sinuous, sweeping shape desired by Ruth. A separate birdcage veil was created for after the church service. As you can see from the fabulous photographs by Howell Jones Photography, Ruth made one gorgeous and stylish bride!

Thanks again for all your hard work, the headpiece really made me feel incredible and i will forever treasure it and hope one day that my daughter or granddaughter will wear it too!
